Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of the Preflio app. By using Preflio you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app.
1. The service
Preflio turns raw aviation data — primarily NOTAMs — into clear, plain-language briefings, alongside weather and airport reference information, to help you understand a flight before you fly.
2. Not a substitute for official sources
Preflio is a planning companion, not an authoritative source. It does not replace an official preflight briefing or your obligation to obtain one and to comply with all applicable regulations (for example, FAR 91.103 in the United States).
Rewrites are generated automatically and may contain errors or omissions. The original raw NOTAM text is always preserved and shown — always verify against official sources. You, as pilot in command, remain solely responsible for the safe conduct of your flight.
3. No warranty
Preflio is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the data is accurate, complete, current, or uninterrupted.
4. Subscription and billing
Preflio is free for 7 days from your first launch. After that, using Preflio requires a monthly or yearly subscription. The price is shown in the app before you subscribe, and Apple charges it to your App Store account. A subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store account settings. Prices and the free period may change.
5. Acceptable use
Use Preflio for personal flight-planning purposes. Don't misuse the service, attempt to disrupt it, or rely on it as your sole source of operational information.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Preflio and its operators are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, the app or its data.
7. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
